What is the Nordlase device?
Nordlys is an advanced medical device from Candela, designed to treat more than 21 skin conditions using multiple technologies, in safe and effective sessions with a short recovery period.
The device contains several handsets, each of which is designed to treat a specific type of skin or hair problem, making it a comprehensive and integrated device.
The main advantage of Nordys is that it combines multiple technologies in one device, which saves clients from having to switch between different devices to treat various problems—because it treats melasma, pigmentation, scars, pores, wrinkles, and even blood vessels… with a single device.

Instructions before and after the Nordlyze session
Before the session
To get the best results from your Nordlys treatment, follow these instructions:
• Fill out the pre-treatment form and tell our team about any previous medications, health conditions or treatments.
• Avoid direct exposure to the sun or tanning devices (solarium) for two weeks before the session, and use sunscreen regularly.
• Do not use any strong creams, exfoliants, or products containing AHA/BHA acids or vitamin C two days before the session.
• Keep your skin moisturized before the session, but avoid applying any products or makeup to the area on the day of treatment.
After the session
It is normal to notice some redness or a feeling of warmth on the skin after Nordlys treatment, and this disappears within a few hours or days:
• Apply cold compresses or soothing cream as directed.
• Avoid sun exposure and use sunscreen with SPF 50+.
• Avoid saunas, jacuzzi, strenuous exercise, or hot water for 48–72 hours.
• Continue moisturizing your skin twice a day.
• If the treatment is for pigmentation or acne, let the skin crust or natural improvement occur without manual scrubbing or peeling.
